The secrets of the house

"How did I not notice this before...?"

<"It's because you never went beyond a certain point down the hallway.">

Hello everyone... Well, you probably want to know what's going on here, right? To put it simply... I was now standing in a candy forest... Yeah, I don't really understand how it's possible either, but the undeniable sweet scent all around, combined with the straw dolls jumping on cotton candy in front of me, confirms that all of this is real...

"Why is there a place like this?!"

<"Stop shaking me first!!">

The scene, which seemed straight out of one of my deepest secret desires, made me forget about the fight... Ahem...!! I mean... the small recent "discussion" I had with Echidna, leading me to shake her for answers about this.

<"Haa... you finally stopped... You should maintain a bit more control.">

"Sorry about that..."

It eventually took me a while to stop shaking Echidna to get answers, as I thoroughly observed the candy forest. In it, licorice-trunked trees rose towards a pink cotton candy sky, with fluffy clouds that looked straight out of a fairy tale. There were even small rivers of bubbling liquid chocolate on the ground! It was so obvious, so... huge. How the hell had I not noticed this before? Had I been here all these years and my sense of direction was so bad that I didn't notice a room was now an enchanted forest? Because if so... I don't even know what to say to defend myself...

<"From your expression, I'm sure you're probably questioning your sense of direction, however, this time that wasn't the reason why you never found this place.">

"Seriously?!"

<"That's right, this time the reason was because you simply avoided entering the rooms with the 'occupied' sign.">

"Wait... So they weren't occupied?!"

<"Actually, they were; specifically, this was materializing inside.">

"....."

How the hell was I supposed to know something like that was happening?! Haa... calm down, me, calm down, I must suppress my urge to pull out a frying pan to hit Echidna... I must resist for myself, for the readers, but above all for the sake of not making more wedding cakes!

"...So I want to ask you, why did such a place materialize?"

<"Before answering, I must acknowledge how impressive it is that you suppressed your urges to use the frying pan.">

"Thanks, it's not easy! So start talking!"

<"Alright, although actually, it wasn't me who materialized it, but you.">

"Me...?"

<"That's right, after all, we are linked, so it's not surprising that you are able to influence the design of my divine territory, especially considering that you also linked yourself to this house.">

"...Hey, what was the last thing you said?"

<"Nothing important, now shall we continue?">

"......."

Although what Echidna said last seemed suspicious, I was unable to hold back my own curiosity about what other similar places might exist, so I silently agreed to continue with the exploration towards the next place... By the way, in case you're wondering, the straw dolls in the forest were very busy jumping and happily playing with Rima, who was chasing them, laughing while throwing rubber flowers... Okay, how did Rima, who's quite recent, notice this before me? I'm starting to think Echidna only gave me that reason to protect my self-esteem!

<"Why are you looking at me like that?">

"For nothing..."

After that, the exploration continued, or rather, I got lost along the way, so I'm currently on a path that I hope will lead me to the kitchen to reorient myself, only to stumble upon another unknown door.

"Gulp... I wonder what's inside..."

When I opened the door, I was immediately hit by a burst of laughter and peculiar sounds... sounds I knew very well.

"...This is a catwalk, isn't it?"

<"That's right...">

What appeared before us was a gigantic catwalk filled to the brim with mannequins and overflowing racks of every imaginable type of cosplay, from maid outfits, bunny suits, nurse uniforms, to... wait a second... That one's my size!! Why the hell?!

"Ah... No, wait, I remember now... So this is where Mom (possessed)'s costumes were that I hadn't seen in a while."

"Mmmmm~♡!"

And as I suspected, those sounds were coming from Mom (possessed), who seemed to be masturbating in the center of the catwalk, apparently giving herself a show using the surrounding mirrors, while naked as usual, though with the addition of a bunny ear headband and a fake tail on her backside... In fact, now that I notice, she's surrounded by a bunch of adult toys scattered on the floor, and beside her was Darcy, who, by her appearance sprawled on the ground with her tongue lolling out and eyes rolled back, it was obvious that she too had come here for pleasure.

"You know, Echidna... I think one of my biggest regrets to date was letting Mom (possessed) teach Darcy how to masturbate..."

<"It was obvious this was going to happen.">

".... I guess so."

W-well... Let's just say this is a room for... Ehm... adult fun! And with that decided, I closed the door, continuing the exploration!

Ahem... So, continuing this quiet exploration (escapism), I ended up reaching the stairs, which I descended hoping to find the basement or whatever might appear, after all, nothing could be more shocking than what came before!

... However, I had completely forgotten that reality often breaks preconceived expectations.

"......"

Before me stretched a vast underground chamber. There were no old boxes or dust, but rather banners hung with cryptic symbols, makeshift altars with black candles, and objects that looked like... cult items? ... No, this was worse, it was as if it were the embodiment of all my darkest fantasies, with things like marble statues of fallen angels and much, much more... There's only one thing I can do about this...

"Nothing happened here, let's go!!"

I closed the door and left, sealing the memory deep within my mental vault, hoping never to find this place again...

"Finally, I'm back!!"

And after many turns through the endless corridor, I returned to my room to take a breather from it all.

<"So, what did you think?">

".... Somewhat exhausting, but gratifying to discover something new."

<"Okay then, but what do you plan to do now?">

"I guess I'll play a bit, after all, I think I know how to blow off some steam~"

<"... Sometimes you still smile just like in the literary world, did you know?">

"Really?!"
