vengeful night
After days of stalking, I finally located the residence where they lived. I watched their every move from the shadows until I witnessed the exact moment that mediocre man walked out the door to head to work. He left the woman completely alone in the house... turning her into an absurdly easy prey.
I waited with a sick kind of patience. As night fell, I slipped under the cover of darkness, taking advantage of the absolute silence of the surroundings to stealthily approach the property. Once positioned in the right spot, I pulled out the vial and consumed the possession drug without a second thought.
Instantly, a violent sense of detachment coursed through my being, accompanied by an icy, weightless lightness. Looking down, I could see my former earthly vessel collapse onto the ground like an empty corpse.
IT WORKED!
I HAD TRULY BECOME A GHOST!!
A surge of ecstasy rushed through my new substance. In my invisible and intangible form, I passed through walls and barriers, effortlessly bypassing every physical obstacle standing in my way. I moved silently down the hallways until I found her: there was Lilith, trying to quietly step out of one of the rooms.
It was the perfect moment. Seizing her distraction, I accelerated and lunged directly into her back, penetrating her body. The spiritual impact was immediate; I felt my cold essence force its way through her flesh, wrapping around her spine and spreading through her veins like boiling poison.
"Ahh... Mmm..."
The momentum of my invasion began to suffocate her breathing. She brought a trembling hand to her chest as her knees buckled under the invisible weight of my presence, feeling her heart pounding frantically in a useless attempt to reject me.
"What is this...?"
Her eyes, once bright and serene, dilated in pure terror as she realized her own fingers were no longer responding to her, seized by an alien force taking control of her nerves. A violent shudder ran through her entire torso as my consciousness devoured hers, dragging her down into the dark depths of her own mind.
"Help..."
Barely an unheard thread of a voice managed to escape her throat—a desperate plea that died right before the light in her pupils completely faded, surrendering absolute control of her senses to my will.
