Chapter 89.5 Catching up part 2

<Nooooo! Diva, stop. You're gonna make me pee!>  I said, laughing as she tickled every part of my body. I squirmed to the left and right as her fingers tormented my body.

<no, no, I can’t! Hahaha, please stop, stop!> I cried and laughed at the same time.

<Hahahha, fine, fine. Your face is so cute when I do that>

Diva pulled her hands away and threw herself onto the bed. I quickly snuggled up into her instantly; I felt her arms wrap around my now very pregnant body. I felt her tail move up my body and caress my large bump.

<haaaaa this is nice.> Diva said as I felt her body relax.

<yes, it is. I’ve missed moments like this; I’ve missed you.> Diva brushed a finger across my cheek

<the feelings are mutual.> She said, Gently stroking my mushroom cap.

<So now that we’ve caught up physically. How are you fairing back home? How are Sally and company?>

<we’re doing fine, thriving, actually. The breeding stock finally arrived, and I got busy doing my job as a hive queen. I think I laid around 300+ eggs that day.>

<300! You must have had fun.>

<Hehehe. It was. Especially the last girl.>

<Ooooh? What did you do?>

<Well….> Diva regaled me about everything she did. And how much fun she had breeding that specific piece of breeding stock. I don’t know if it’s the conversation, but hearing her speak about growing the hive makes me feel kind of proud. It's weird. I don’t mind it, though, but there is one thing bothering me.

<Wow! Why didn’t you put one of those big ones in me! I'm jealous!>

Diva chuckled. <Maybe next time. And besides, something like that can only be birthed in the hive. Out here, it doesn’t work. Not enough food.>

<I see. Well, if I can't have the big egg  next time we do it, can I take charge.>

<Hahah, of course. I wouldn’t mind it. It would be nice to change it up once in a while.>  She said with a smile.

<And when I do take charge, do you think I can get my own…Ovi…ovi> The word got caught in my throat.

<Don’t get shy now. You can tell me anything.>

I took a deep breath. <is it possible I can do you with my own ovipositor!> I shrunk away.

Diva paused before letting out a deep belly laugh

<ITS NOT THAT FUNNY!>

<hahahah! But it is Apollinaris. Who knew you had such fantasies.>

<Divaaa…>I cried

<relax, I’m teasing. To answer your question. I don’t know. The systems I work with are very tight-lipped about what I can and can't do. It could be possible, but I haven't found how to do it yet. However, I do have to mention the elephant in the room that comes with that.>

<I would never do that.>

<I know, but we have to at least discuss it. Would you ever try to start a rival hive?>

<no! god no! Never! Starting a hive is not something that interests me. I like being at your side. If it fulfils me in ways I can't explain. Your success feels like my success. And besides doing something like that to you after someone so close did it to me….. I can't even think about it. It makes me sick….> and that was the most sincere truth. I couldn’t do that to her. The pain of being betrayed by Mr. Pigden still hurts to this day. I would never do that to anyone I care about.?

<that’s really nice to hear. Thank you, Apollinaris> Diva said. Her voice filled with a warmth it never had before. It was really cute. God, I love this woman.

<Why do you want one? If you don’t mind me asking.> My mind snapped back to the conversation. Suddenly I felt my cheeks get warm <Becauase…. When I Imagine doing you like that. It really turns me on.>

Diva chuckled again. <You have a surprisingly dirty mind, Apollinaris. I'll take a look. No promises though.>

<I understand, then I'll wait. You can take the lead till then.>

Diva pulled me close. <well, besides that. How are you feeling? It’s been a rough few days. For you, hasn’t it.

<If you don’t mind….> I started talking to her about everything: the training, the tournament, and everything I did. All of it flew out of me like an unending torrent of words. I don’t know how long I talked, but during all of it, Diva just listened and didn’t once interrupt me. It was nice just having someone there to talk to. I didn’t realise it, but besides the children and Andre, it's just me here. I have no friends or anyone to really talk to...

<And just as she was about to choose one, I stabbed you.>

<Hahaha, How marvellous. Please tell me she screamed when you did. I do like a good screamer.>

I chuckled <No, she kind of went like, “ughaghaaaa, why. Did you do this” Or something like that.>

<Oh, what a shame. But to me, it sounded like you had some fun and got a lot of XP out of it.>

<Yeah, I did! I'm super high-level now!>

<having a quick look here and. Woah. Your stats are higher than mine now.>

<I…is that a problem….>

<Apollinaris….> Diva lent over and kissed me on my mushroom cap

< I'm not so shallow that this would make me hate you. You are as strong as you are because you worked hard for it. I'm proud of you>

My heart fluttered. <T….thank you.> I

< It's honestly inspiring, really. I need to get in gear and start training as well.>

<Well, if you ever need some guidance or want a sparing partner, I'm always available.>

<Hahah, thank you.> Diva and I caught up some more. It was honestly nice. It hasn’t been long, but so much has happened, and even more will happen, I'm sure. I wish she could stay a bit longer.

< Well, Apollinaris, it's getting late. Why don’t we both finally get some well-earned rest?>

<Wait before you go to bed. I wanna ask you something.>

<Sure, go ahead.>

< Is it normal for me to be like this…>

<Like what?>

<When I think back to the tournament, I was so cold and so calculating…. During the tournament, I killed so many people, and I didn’t even think about it. Even now, I can tell you how a person should feel about what I did, but do I actually feel those emotions? No, I don’t. Even now, I was laughing about killing a girl. And I enjoyed you telling me about that girl you raped. Is this normal? It's like my moral compass has just flown out the window>

<Or your moral compass is no longer one of a human. Tell me. Is it bothering you?> she replied.

<Not really. I’m just wondering, after all.>

<We, I mean the Alvearix, don’t care for much except our own; anything that isn't an Alvearix is food or breeding material or both if possible. Everything is acceptable as long as it benefits the hive. It’s why my children kill and eat relentlessly and would happily die for me. Everything for the hive.>

<I see. I was just curious. Because it’s so incredibly different to how I used to be. It’s hard to imagine I’m the same person>

<altertively, you’re the person you always were. But now you're with people you can finally express it with it. Either way, you shouldn’t worry about those things.>

< I'm not worried. I think deep down, I was always this sort of person. An angry person filled with so much hate, But now that I am an alvearix, I can finally stop pretending.>

<If it's any consolation. Your angry, hateful stare really turns me the fuck on.>

<I know it does. I’ve seen how you stare at me. Now, let's get back to bed. I feel like if we continue, you just end up impregnating me again.>

<Is that supposed to be a bad thing?>

<Sleep diva. Now….>

<Fine if you say so. Good night.>

<Good night.>

I snuggled up close to her again and before I knew it I was fast asleep.
