56 Searching for the bandits

"Looks like we are a little late. He already found the village." Xiangyue looked at Shi Tian below and said.

Just after Shi Tian left for the town, Bingyao found the news of this village when she went to visit the alchemist guild. Knowing that Shi Tian might be going to wetness this bloody massacre. Both of them immediately came here to let him see this scene as soon as possible, but Shi Tian beat them by a minute.

"I am going help him?" In the sky, Bingyao looked at Shi Tian and said. As she was about to help Shi Tian but at this time, Xiangyue stopped her.

"Wait for a second! It happened already, we might as well as test something. For that, he needed to experience this situation." Xiangyue's eyes narrowed slightly as she looked at Shi Tian.

"I thought you wanted him a peaceful life." Bingyao couldn't help but looked Xiangyue with a surprised expression and said.

"I am. I really wanted him to live a happy life. But after the last incident, he seemed to have changed completely, I feared that he is suppressing his emotions too much. This is not a good thing, I fear it might take a huge toll on his mind." Xiangyue said.

"But what if his past trauma flared up again?" Bingyao has a worried expression.

"Then we have to seal up his past memories. I can't risk after the last incident, I will protect him even if I have to seal his all traumatic memories." Xiangyue said with a determined look.

"I hope that he found his way on his own. Otherwise, it would become his obstacle in his future cultivation." Xiangyue muttered slowly. Bingyao also nodded.

Both waited in the sky while Shi Tian fell into the past memories of his predecessor. His mind was completely thrown into chaos for a while. After a whole fifteen minutes of spiritual struggle inside his mind, Shi Tian finally became a little clear-headed a little. It was all because of the reward that he obtained from the system that strengthened his mental powers. Otherwise, he didn't know how long he would take to recover from his shock.

Even though he calmed down his chaotic mind, the anger hasn't quenched from his heart.

After that he once again started walking into the village, trying to find any survivor. But even after searching for fifteen minutes, he didn't find one.

"He recovered from the shock so soon," Bingyao exclaimed in surprise. She was ready to help Shi Tian, but it looks like there was no need for her to do that.

"Hmm! It is surprising. He recovered quite soon." Xiangyue was a little surprised too. They never expected that he would be able to recover from the shock so quickly.

While both women inspecting his movement from the sky, Shi Tian busies investigating the village massacre. From the residue spirit auras around the village, he was able to confirm that it was the work of a group of over two dozen people.

Another thing that caught his eyes was that he didn't find many female corpses only children and old ones, he assumed that the bandits must have taken the females away to their hideouts to mutilate them sexually.

As far as he can think of he couldn't think of any suspects then bandits. He already heard a good deal of news of bandits during his last trip to the city. Just never heard anything about massacring a whole village.

He was a little relieved inwardly, if it was the work of any individual or any certain group of people other than bandits, it would be almost impossible to find them. But the bandits were easy to find in this type of area. If his guess was not wrong, then bandits must be hiding in the forest somewhere. There was only one way to prove by searching himself. The anger in his heart is yet to quench, and it won't be quenched completely until he found them.

After that Shi Tian started wandering in the forest.

"Is he trying to find the culprits?"

"Yes, he must have figured out the identities of the culprits."

"We should stop him? This can be dangerous. And does he really think that he can find the bandit hideouts in the forest? It might take forever, he has no knowledge or experience of forest or bandits." Bingyao couldn't help but said. The forest was big, the bandits must be hiding in a safe place, if Shi Tian wanted the hideouts of bandits, it might going to difficult and time-consuming.

"Let's presume it as training for Tian'er. Don't you also want to see his performance? He can't live in the mansion his entire life, he needs to learn some survival skills as well. This is a good chance. As for danger, you should have knowledge about his strength, unless a Spirit Lord appeared, he won't fall in any fatal danger." Xiangyue said with some interest. "You should beware of our past and our enemies. I do not believe that they will not come to our door again in the future. He needs to start facing some danger to grow."

"Sigh, okay!"

Shi Tian started searching for the clues in the forest, in ordinary times, it would be more difficult to locate the hideouts of bandits because of fear of soldiers but right now, they don't have fear of being discovered by the soldiers at the moment when the Red Cloud Kingdom was fighting a war. So they didn't hide their traces efficiently.

Shi Tian went to the highest point to examine the topography of the mountains. After that, he started picking out the potential hiding spots of the bandits.

Shi Tian spend more than seven hours, searching a few potential hiding spots of bandits but couldn't find anything. But he still persisted to continue his search, even though he didn't know what is he going to do with the bandits when he will find them. He wandered in the forest while searching for the aura with his divine senses. Right now, his divine senses could cover an area of around a hundred meters almost three times higher than an average spirit grandmaster.

After spending another two hours, he finally found some clues of bandits. He followed the clues left behind by the bandits and found a narrow crack in the mountain. He was not entirely sure about this. But according to the geographical condition of this place, it looked like a good place to hide.

Shi Tian ponders for a few moments before deciding to enter the crack. It was a narrow path, he didn't find anything unusual at the start.

At this moment, his ears perked slightly as he heard some noises coming from the inside. He concealed his aura and moved forward. Someone placed many alerting traps in the narrow path, but all of them were carefully avoided by Shi Tian. Seeing the traps, he was sure, it was a hideout, next thing, he needed to know if these traps were placed by the same people who massacred the village.

"No. No~~ Ahhh~~~"

"Please let me goo~~

"Hahahahaha!

"Hahahaha~~~ begging is useless here Now, shut up and suck if you don't want to beat up~~~"

"Haha~ guys enjoy as much you want today, we will be leaving the forest in the night. I am sure that the Red Cloud Kingdom won't sit idle after our last incident."

After passing throw the narrow path, She Tian arrived at a spacious cave, he was greeted with a cruel scene that caused his heart to tremble.

Over thirty men mutilating a group of females. The females were begging for help and mercy, crying. The bandits laughed wildly, looking like a group of crazy people. There were a few females who laying on the ground devoid of any breath, almost like they were beaten to death.

Anger in Shi Tian's heart reached its limit, seeing this cruel scene it exploded instantly. A murderous aura appeared around him for the first time.

"All of you deserve to die~~~" Shi Tian said furiously, as spirit qi flared up from his body.
