Practice

Shi Tian held the spear in his hand and swing it a few times, to his surprise, it didn't feel like he was using the spear the first time.

It felt as if he was a spear master.

In just a minute, Shi Tian was able to move his spear swiftly. His body was already adopted to the spear, and the previous Shi Tian's spear mastery integrated within his mind.

"Let's practice then!" Shi Tian waved his spear and said before charging towards Duan Mei.

"Mm!" Duan Mei nodded, after that she held her wooden sword and parried against the metal spear.

The wooden sword in her hand seemed to become stronger than metal, it collided against his metal spear and made a clanging sound as she easily repelled his metal spear. Shi Tian forced to move a step back, then moved forward again only to repelled by Duan Mei's sword again. This process was repeating again and again. This repeating process bring benefits to Shi Tian, he was becoming used to his new strength.

Shi Tian didn't pause and attacked again and again. His movements were clumsy at the start, but soon they started to improve, ten minutes later, a swiftness appeared in his spear art.

Shi Tian remembering the basic spear art in his mind while moving the spear. Even though he all moved being blocked by Duan Mei's wooden sword easily, he didn't show any sign of depression.

Duan Mei's cultivation was two big realms higher than his, even if she stood still and let him attack herself, he wouldn't able to injure her. After reaching the spirit gathering stage, a cultivator could use the spirit qi to attack and defend by manipulating it.

While the body forging realm didn't have this qualification.

Both of them started speeding up, Shi Tian couldn't help but marvel at his new strength, it was adrenaline racing in his entire body, his body was filled with power. He never felt like this before.

This time he finally understood the euphoria of having strong strength that's why all the cultivators of this world worked hard to improve their cultivation.

Three hours passed, Shi Tian was beaten by Duan Mei. He was depressed by beating, his mind was occupied by the thrill of having supernatural powers.

Three days passed!

[Congratulation to the host for weakly sign-in, rewarding a special item, Qi Cloaking Secret Art]

Shi Tian was a little surprised by the system notification, looks like there are some hidden perks as well. The weakly sign-in were better than daily sign-in rewards.

Qi Cloaking secret art could mask the qi inside a person and hide the cultivation of a person. It could work as a disguising tool to hide one's cultivation. But it has some limits, it can't work on a person who has cultivation much higher than the user.

In the last three days, he got three more sign in rewards from the system.

[Qi Replenishing Pill: Spirit Refinement Realm pill. It can recover one's spirit Qi for a short period of time and is suitable for use in battle.]

[Nine Transformations Life Pill:  Below the Spirit Lord Stage, as long as a breath remains, one can consume this pill to swiftly recover their injuries and vitality. It is extremely difficult to refine.]

[Mountain Shattering Palm: Profound Tier combat skill.]

Shi Tian focuses on cultivation.

[Name: Shi Tian]

[Life: 15/80]

[Cultivation: Eight Layer Body Forging Realm] ...

Right now, his cultivation has reached the ninth level of the body forgiving realm, the next stage was the Spirit gathering stage. Where a cultivator needed to open his dantian first, then he absorbed the energy of heaven and earth and stored it inside the Dantian after refining it into his/ her Internal Spirit Qi.

Shi Tian didn't have to worry about the Dantian, as it was already opened by the previous Shi Tian. He could skip the dantian opening process and break through the Spirit Gathering Stage directly.

In the last three days, Shi Tian practiced martial arts with two girls, even his aunt came to teach him the martial skills.

"Young Master, are you ready?" Duan Mei said with a smile as she looked at Shi Tian.

Shi Tian nodded as he took a spear that was a second-ranked spiritual weapon. After that he channeled his spirit qi into the spear, the spear vibrated slightly as a spirit pattern on its shaft glowed with soft light.

"Heaven Piercing Spear!"

Shi Tian called out as he trusted his spear forward swiftly, his spear seemed extended by few meters forming an illusionary spear, an illusionary spear stabbed at the Duan Mei. But just as it about reached Duan Mei, the latter suddenly banished from her place. The illusionary spear directly passed tearing through the air and poked into the stone wall behind Duan Mei.

"Boom!"

A hole of the size of two feet appeared in the stone wall.

Shi Tian sighed lightly in his heart, Duan Mei was a wind attribute cultivator, she has the advantage of speed. In terms of speed, a wind attribute cultivator was best as they could wind qi to increase their speed.

"Young Master is really outstanding, your combat strength is far superior to your cultivation level." Duan Mei appeared again on the same spot and said cheerfully while she glanced at the hole in the stone wall.

"Well, It's still not enough!" Shi Tian said lightly.

"Don't worry young master, with your cultivation speed, you will soon be able to catch up with us, after that you can use your martial skills freely. At that time, your strength would outmatched." Xiu Ying said from the side, trying to comfort Shi Tian.

Shi Tian nodded lightly, the predecessor has learned many powerful martial skills in the past, but they all were too strong and needed a huge amount of spirit qi to perform them. Shi Tian didn't have such amount of spirit Qi right now to perform high ranked martial skills.
