Hugging in sleep
They ate the warm soup, which brought them warmth in this icy world.
Just as last time, Shi Tian took out the mattress and placed it on the ground, then lay down comfortably on it.
"Sister Xiaoli, we should get some sleep; it is going to be a big fight tomorrow." Shi Tian said as he looked at her and spoke.
"You go to sleep; I am going to cultivate tonight. We have harvested many ice element spiritual treasures; I am sure I will be able to raise my cultivation by one layer." Shen Xiaoli said. There are many ice-element herbs and fruits lying in her storage ring; she just needs time to consume and absorb the spiritual energy, and her cultivation will progress by a great margin.
However, she can't absorb them in one night.
"Sister Xiaoli, don't overdo it to increase your cultivation. If you try to increase your cultivation too fast, it will have an unstable foundation, which could affect your future cultivation." Shi Tian gave her a warm reminder.
"As long as I am here, nothing will happen to you." Shi Tian's voice was filled with confidence as he spoke while looking into her eyes.
Shen Xiaoli was a little astonished by the confidence-filled eyes of his. She couldn't help but recall the distant memory when he was young and carefree. He used to be very naughty, often teasing the elders in the clan.
After the disaster, he lost his naivety. Thankfully, he overcame the trauma and started to laugh again. Although he overcame the trauma, it left a scar on his heart; he didn't want to lose his relative again.
She could understand his heart so clearly because she also felt the same. Not only they, but others must have the same beliefs.
"Sister... Sister Xiaoli, what happened?" Seeing the lost and thoughtful look on her face, Shi Tian called her out and asked curiously.
"Nothing; I was just thinking about something." Shen Xiaoli shook her head and spoke faintly.
"Okay! Remember, do not overdo it." Shi Tian reminded her again before going to sleep. After a few minutes, Shen Xiaoli could hear the stable and steady breath of Shi Tian, who was already asleep.
She was astonished by him. The fact that he could sleep so naturally in this kind of dangerous environment, as if he was sleeping in his home.
She, on the other hand, took out a small pale blue flower from the storage ring and started to consume it. As the flower dissolved in her mouth, it burst out an icy aura that contained huge amounts of ice-element spiritual energy.
She slowly refined the spiritual energy of the flower; her cultivation realm started to progress.
After three hours later...
Shen Xiaoli's aura flared up again, her cultivation advanced another layer, reaching the seventh layer of the Spirit Lord Realm.
It was already midnight; she remembered the suggestion of Shi Tian and didn't try to rush it. Anyway, she now fights an initial-stage spirit lord realm beast on her own. If needed, she can escape with Shi Tian from higher-grade spirit king realm beasts.
Shi Tian had already told her that this secret realm doesn't have monsters higher than the spirit king realm, and he has cards to deal with the spirit king realm. Even if it was a peak-stage Spirit King Realm monster beast, Shi Tian has ways to kill it.
Although he gave her reassurance, she couldn't help but feel concerned. There was a big difference between the spirit lord realm and the spirit king realm. In the end, Shi Tian had no choice but to show her his hidden cards; she finally agreed to his request.
"Now, should I go to sleep or not?" At this time, Shen Xiaoli looked at Shi Tian on the mattress and thought inwardly. She felt a little reserved to sleep on the mattress with Shi Tian.
Last time, it was an emergency. Now she was not injured nor exhausted. If she wanted, she could simply spend the night while meditating.
After thinking for a while, she got up, walked to the mattress, and lay down beside Shi Tian. When she entered the quilt, she felt warmth and comfort.
Shi Tian's chaos flame is working consciously, keeping him warm.
Shen Xiaoli didn't know when her eyes closed as she fell asleep as well.
Time passed...
"Huh?"
Suddenly Shen Xiaoli's eyes snapped open. It turned out she was embraced by Shi Tian from behind. Her back pressed against his chest as he hugged her waist.
Shen Xiaoli was about to retort to him but stopped upon noticing his stable breath of sleeping; he was still sleeping, and this must be his unconscious action.
She gently removed his hand without waking him up.
However, a few minutes passed; he hugged her again, even more aggressively. Shen Xiaoli's face couldn't help but flush when she felt the warm breath of his tickling on her neck.
It can't be helped; Shi Tian got used to sleeping with Xue Ying and Duan Mei; he usually hugged them in his sleep.
She glanced outside; it was still dark. The days were shorter in this secret realm while nights were longer. According to her estimate, there were still one or two hours to dawn.
She hesitated; she didn't want to wake him up, nor did she want to get up either. Although it was awkward, it felt pleasant to lie down in a warm quilt.
After hesitating for a moment, she finally stopped and remained still.
"Why am I reacting so much? He is like a younger brother to me; it is not a big deal to sleep together in such a special situation." Shen Xiaoli whispered inwardly.
...
In the early morning...
Shi Tian was the first one to wake up. As he drowsily opened his eyes. A faint fragrance drifted into his nose as he took a breath. As his mind cleared, he processed his current situation.
Shen Xiaoli's back pressed against his chest, and her entire body was sticking close to his.
"Her figure is really top-notch." Soon Shi Tian spoke inwardly without making any movement. He felt his morning wood pressing against her buttocks, perfectly placed between her ass cheeks.
His morning wood became hardened even more upon feeling the warm sensation of her ass cheeks caressing his dick.
He didn't make any movement; she was still sleeping, and he didn't try to wake her up either. He just wants to enjoy it, although it was hard to resist when such beauty was lying in your arms, but Shi Tian has perseverance.
