54. Righteous and Demonic
Lo Jik moves around the Bai Gu mountain, covering his tracks. He’s fucking excited! Not even noticing the Tie Clan’s Gu Masters in the Bai Clan’s encampment dampens his excitement. The duo was indeed pursued. Does the Tie Clan believe they have something to do with the Blood and Crane Disaster?
Lo Jik doesn’t know.
And he doesn’t care!
After all, he has his first two repeatable Silver Achievements alongside Golden ones!
[Milking Mouth (Golden): Kissed Bai Lin For The First Time. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Linked In Parting (Golden): Had Vaginal Sex With Bai Lin For The First Time. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Mommy Dripper 9000 (Golden): Made Bai Lin Orgasm For The First Time. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Mommy Maker (Golden): Creampied Bai Lin. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Mommy Milker (Golden): Experienced an Orgasm Through Bai Lin’s Breasts. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Feeding Mommy Milk (Golden): Experienced an Orgasm Through Bai Lin’s Mouth. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Motherly Make Out (Silver/Repeatable): Made Out With Bai Lin. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
[Bending Over The Clan (Silver/Repeatable): Had Penetrative Sex With Bai Lin. Parties Involved—Host and Bai Lin. Rewards Stored.]
The first two Golden Rewards gave Lo Jik a Rank 6 Inheritance and a heaven-defying Rank 2 Polished Steel Gu! He has 6 more!
‘But I didn’t have time for thigh, feet, butt, and hand jobs!’ He sighs. But such thoughts don’t remain in his head for long.
‘Bai Lin is a Strength Path Gu Master. I’m somewhat the same. But most of the Gu related to one’s path or type emerge from the Bronze Rewards. For instance, the only Scout-Type Gu I got as a Silver Reward was the Shadow Beast Gu. Of course, I may get injured Rank 4 Gu Worms, too!’
He slowly returns to the cave. Since he can indefinitely store the rewards, he won’t rush to summon them. What if he doesn’t have food for the Gu and let them die? Won’t it be a waste?
These are Golden Achievements!
He recovers his cool and enters the inheritance site.
This was a massive bet. But even if Bai Ning Bing escaped, he would do it all over again. How can a Yin Rotation Gu compare to his gains? But did she run?
“Oh? You’re already back from your lecherous needs? That was early. Did you not last long?” Bai Ning Bing eyes him calmly, storing the Bone Spear in her aperture.
“Oh, you lovely girl,” he sighs loudly. “I scored hard!”
“What does that mean?”
Bai Ning Bing questions. “Did you get the materials you wanted to refine the Bone Flesh Unity Gu?”
“Nope,” Lo Jik shrugs. “The Tie Clan pursuers arrived before I could do anything. Let’s get out of here.”
Bai Ning Bing frowns.
The Tie Clan? Anxiousness blooms in her heart.
Who doesn’t know the Tie Clan? It’s one of the Super Clans—an Overlord of a Region! Even hundreds of Bai and Gu Yue Clan won’t compare!
She watches Lo Jik retrieve a bone-white sac with a milky glow. The Rank 4 Milk-Bone Sac Gu. He tosses it inside the Milk Vat, devouring all the Gu and the Milk Spring as they leave.
“What about this?” Bai Ning Bing sighs as she stares at the Earthen Pot. According to the Bone Flesh Unity Gu recipe, several rare Rank 4 Gu are inside the Pot. These Gu are hibernating. Once they lift the seal from the pot, these Gu will awaken and need food. Leaving these Rank 4 Gu is such a waste!
“What about them?” Lo Jik laughs. There are almost 70 Gu inside the Pot. He cannot store them inside his Kindling Will Gu. But—
“We’ll just carry the pot,” he reveals.
“Have you lost your mind?” Bai Ning Bing snaps. “Tie Clansmen are chasing after us. We don’t have the appropriate strength to fight back. They might also kill us on the spot to control the Bone Flesh Unity Gu’s recipe. How can we escape them with this pot without leaving any traces?”
Lo Jik glances at her with a flattering smile.
“That’s why I like you, Ning Bing. You considered all this before taking the Footless Bird, right?”
Her expression changes.
“Absolutely not! Why should I use my one-time Gu? We would be far from Bai Gu Mountain if you didn’t chase skirts!”
Lo Jik’s smile deepens.
“Your use of Healing Gu and me using an Expendable Gu are different concepts! No! I will die rather than let you take more advantages!”
He raises an eyebrow.
“We may have this inheritance because of you. But I contributed, too! Lo Jik, don’t go too far!”
“Have you never thought of jumping from a cliff for excitement?” Lo Jik questions. “This is your chance.”
“You think I’m a fool?!” She hisses. “Like I would be goaded into using a precious Rank 3 Gu! Hmph! Pay for it! 70% of the cost. Don’t forget I waited for you.”
“And where were you planning to go without me?” Lo Jik rolls his eyes. “I won’t lie, Bai Ning Bing. I wanted the Footless Bird before you took it. I have an exciting location planned for us. That location will give us time to digest these gains. The Footless Bird will also allow us to escape our pursuers for a long while.”
Bai Ning Bing frowns. “60%”
“Think,” Lo Jik smiles, approaching her and smoothly coiling an arm around her shoulders. He waves his other hand at the ceiling.
“That’s a mysterious location only Rank 5 Gu Masters can explore. But I have a way to do the same. We might even get a few Strength Gu. Didn’t you complain about lacking stamina? You can cover that weakness there!”
“Hmph, 55%! No Lower.”
“Fine. I promise to pay you back in Shang Clan.”
Bai Ning Bing’s expression eases as Lo Jik picks up the Earthen Pot with a hand while walking near the exit.
“Before that,” Bai Ning Bing stops him. “Did you win?”
“Excuse me?” Lo Jik looks at her, finding Bai Ning Bing staring into his soul with her piercing gaze.
“Did you win?”
He smirks.
“How about you get in the arena and try it yourself,” he chuckles, walking away. “I’ll get a chance to beat an Extreme Physique again.”
Her gaze glitters before she snorts and follows him to the precipice.

Tie No Ting’s expression is terrible as he gazes at the fist-sized mosquito corpses on the bone ground. Bai Lin’s expression isn’t any better.
“Bastard!” she curses. “How did that Bastard do that?!”
“Ease your heart, Leader Bai,” Tie No Ting sighs bitterly. “Gu Yue Lo Jik has an insidious heart. He may already be a Demonic Gu Master. It’s not unsurprising. But look on the bright side. The discovery in this cave should be more than enough to recover your losses.”
Bai Lin grounds her jaws. Her eyes are bloodshot as Tie No Ting sighs. He glances at his team before nodding.
“Leader Bai, we must leave and chase that Demonic Menace. He must have an unknown partner. We can’t slow our search.”
“Please find him,” Bai Lin thins her lips. “I want him to suffer!”
Tie No Ting nods and leaves.
Only when TIe No Ting leaves does Bai Lin exhale loudly. Three elders remain around her instead of the original six. However, all of their eyes reveal a strange excitement.
‘Oh, Lo Jik! Oh, Unchained! May Heaven lead you to mighty success!’ Bai Lin trills internally. Lo Jik is her Clan’s benefactor. How can she be angry? The sacrifices and her act were necessary. If the Tie Clan’s group suffered more, they would have sent someone from their clan to extract the natural spring. However, Bai Lin and Tie No Ting combined their strength to kill the Bone Sucking Mosquito group! Bai Lin’s losses would have been severe without Tie No Ting.
As for labeling Lo Jik demonic?
Hehe! If he can use her, can’t she return the favor?
However, only Bai Lin knows what she might do if she finds Lo Jik again.
Unconsciously, she touches her abdomen.
“Clan Leader?”
One of the Elders speaks.
“Right!” Bai Lin recovers from her daze. “We must immediately initiate the plan to lower the wild beast around the mountain. This natural spring is close to the foot of the Mountain and easy to protect. With any luck, we will find more natural springs and control the entire Bai Gu Mountain. But we must move with caution. Let’s seal this area so other beasts cannot settle here again.”
“Yes!”

Three Great Rivers flow through the Southern Border—Yellow Dragon, Red Dragon, and Jade Dragon Rivers! These three Rivers are massive and dangerous. Their tributaries alone house Myriad and Beast Emperors. Traveling the Southern Border through these rivers is not a mortal’s means. Consequently, these great rivers intersect at some points, dividing the Southern Border into six regions. These six regions house thousands of named and ordinary mountains.
Understanding Southern Border’s political ladder is simple. Mortals are the lowest of the lows, even beneath the worst kind of Demonic Gu Masters.
Above the mortals are Gu Masters. Those that travel alone are Lone and Demonic Gu-Masters. However, the Righteous Faction can be classified into—Super, Large, Mid, and Small Clans.
The small clans are recently born and require many Rank 1 and Rank 2 Gu Masters to create an efficient system.
The Mid-Sized Clans have a Rank 4 Clan Leader. Producing two Rank 5 Gu Masters in the past, the Gu Yue Clan was partially a Large Clan. Even Clans like the Bai Clan near the Bai Gu are the same despite possessing better comprehensive strength.
The Large Clans possess a Rank 5 Gu Master as a head and 2-3 Spirit Springs to control an Entire Mountain. The Jia Clan, Jia Fu’s Home, is a Large Clan created by his father. Among the several Large Clans, the Jia Clan is young and may be lowered in rank after Jia Fu’s Father’s demise.
Super Clans? It’s not something a Large Clan can transition into with wealth and territory alone. It’s said that Gu Immortals support these Super Clans! Shang Clan and Tie Clan are Super Clans. However, there are more Super-Sized Clans in the Southern Border.
But the ecosystem of the Southern Border doesn’t allow these clans to interact. How do they grow without external trade?
Trading and a marketplace are necessary for growth!
Caravans.
Caravans are a prospect open for Large and Super Clans. These caravans move around a planned route, exchanging goods from different clans and allowing the Southern Border to prosper. As one might expect, these caravans are also classified between mid, large, and super caravans.
Middle-sized caravans are led by an alliance of Rank 3 Gu Masters of various Clans. Conversely, it can also be led by a Rank 4 Gu Master. The Gu Yue Clan annually received a middle-sized caravan under Rank 4 Jia Fu’s lead. These caravans also prefer trading with Mid and Small-Sized Clans due to a balance in power. Their route covers a small portion of one of the six regions.
Large-sized caravans are led by an alliance of a Rank 4 Gu Masters of various clans or a Rank 5 Gu Master. These caravans openly deal with the large clans they are in friendly relations with, moving throughout their home region. Super-sized clans like the Shang Clan can send two or three caravans annually! Meanwhile, Large-sized clans plan their products for a long time, only sending Large Caravans once every few years.
Meanwhile, Super Caravans only deal with other Super-sized clans—capable of charting the entire Southern Border.
Knowing this is necessary for Lo Jik’s recent needs. The duo has too many gains. Although they can be wasteful and let some of their Gu die… why would they do that? Shang Clan is far away and will take several months to reach alone. However, they can enter a Caravan that suits their needs. This will allow them to feed their more important and expensive Gu. It will also let them travel a small portion of the Southern Border and other clans without being hounded by the local Gu Masters.
But why would a caravan let them enter?
Jik and Bing have suspicious origins. Nobody in their right mind would allow that.
Unless they make the conditions favorable.
How can they make conditions favorable? By adequate preparations. And for preparations, the duo need time and a relatively safe location.
Reaching the Shang Clan is their primary objective. It’s how to arrive at the Clan while maintaining their gains that need work!
A giant bone-white creature flaps its wings, entering a region covered by thick fog. This creature has an Eagle’s head and a crane’s body. There are no limbs on it aside from its bone wings. Its body can effortlessly support two adults. Black stripes litter its surface, making this creature’s makeup similar to a zebra from Lo Jik’s homeworld.
This creature glides and lands on the ground, dragging moist soil and fresh grass. The thick mist may be problematic for others, but not Lo Jik. He observes his surroundings before muttering, “I can’t see a damn thing.”
Meanwhile, the bird under their body turns into ashes.
Rank 3 Footless Bird.
This consumable Rank 3 Steed Gu can fly thousands of kilometers and is only outmatched by Rank 5 Gu!
Bai Ning Bing looks around with a curious expression. “So this is the Fei Hou Mountain,” she whistles. “I only read about it in the books. Why are we here?”
Lo Jik sniffs deeply before touching the soil. An odd look flashes in his eyes before he looks around as if searching for something. He swiftly picks a direction and carries the earthen pot. “Let’s go there.”
Bai Ning Bing rolls her eyes. There are times when Lo Jik refuses to give her a straight answer. But it doesn’t lower her curiosity for Fei Hou Mountain.
The direction Lo Jik picks leads the duo to a massive boulder. He nods at this. Lo Jik sets the pot aside and retrieves the Eight-Sectioned Gourd. Under Bai Ning Bing’s curious gaze, he pours Bamboo Wine into a large bowl before placing the bowl on the rock.
‘What is he doing?’ She blinks.
“Do you know why the Fei Hou Mountain is famous?” Lo Jik questions as he looks around.
“Everyone knows. It’s one of the three most important trade routes in the entire Southern Border.”
Caravans must map a relatively safe route to carry their goods. Originally, Fei Hou Mountain was a death zone for caravans. Other mountains have different beast groups to keep others in check. However, Fei Hou Mountain was controlled by the Bandit Monkeys. This Mountain is also at a strategic point, connecting one of the massive tributaries of the Yellow Dragon River without others needing to cross the dangerous waters.
When Gu Masters were troubled, a figure from the Righteous faction rose.
He was a Rank 5 Gu Master—Sky Marquis Crown. He scaled Fei Hou Mountain and used the Monkey Language Gu to come to an agreement with the Bandit Monkey Emperor. This opened one of the safest routes in the Southern Border, connecting East to West. A caravan often passes this Mountain’s valley. This spot can be used by Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing to enter a Caravan.
“The Bandit Monkeys are strong, but they are also somewhat intelligent,” Bai Ning Bing recites what she learned with a bored expression. “Their favorite activity is arm wrestling. An infant Bandit Monkey can arm wrestle at his birth. These monkeys also use arm wrestling to resolve several issues. Back then, Sky Crown Marquis arm wrestled up to the Monkey Emperor, defeating him in an arm-wrestling contest and opening this trade route.” Her expression draws her uncertainty. “Are you here to arm wrestle with these monkeys.”
“What you said is public knowledge. The Gu Yue Clan had two Rank 5 Gu Masters. Remember that fucked-up ancestor?”
“Who wouldn’t?” She snorts.
“The Mo Family got some of his old records,” Lo Jik lies. He learned this from the journal of the Crazed Blood Monk. “What Sky Crown Marquis did was open a public path. However, the Bandit Monkey society is old. Legends say they originate from a Gu Immortal.”
“An Immortal?” Bai Ning Bing’s gaze widens.
“There are old traditions in the Bandit Monkey Society pointing to human interference. Many Rank 5 Gu Masters studied these beasts to gain crucial information about the Gu Immortal who might have raised them. Like in every society, we must introduce ourselves. The Bandit Monkeys have a peculiar way of doing that.”
Lo Jik takes a huge breath. His chest rises, and his stomach inflates before he shocks Bai Ning Bing with a loud call!
*AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa*
His loud voice echoes.
It’s already dark, and the thick mist surrounds everything.
“What the fuck was that?” Bai Ning Bing hisses.
“A man’s dream to shout a primal call in the woods,” Lo Jik shrugs. He could have shouted in any manner, but he used the Tarzan template.
Bai Ning Bing’s expression changes as she hears low thumps and gowls. The sound of pushed trees and broken branches fills her senses as she prepares for a battle. Their trained ears hear a loud ‘whoosh’ before something Giant lands ahead. The creature’s momentum and sudden landing shake the earth. The wine bowl atop the rock trembles as the mist parts slightly, revealing a muscular, yellow-furred beast with black tiger stripes. Its body is easily ten meters tall. Its fur dangles down like a skirt as the creature thumps its chest!
A hundred-beast king!
The Monkey King opens his mouth and roars!
*HUOOOOU*
*Thump* *Thump* *Thump* *Thump* *Thump* *Thump*
*Huooo* *Huooo* *Huooo* *Huooo* *Huooo* *Huooo* *Huooo*
Bai Ning Bing’s pupils shrink as loud chest beatings and massive roars force the mist from the small section of the mountain. Almost two hundred Bandit Monkeys as tall as the tree surround them.
Bai Ning Bing has the confidence to kill this group. However, the blood will attract the entire society’s outrage!
Lo Jik smiles and points at the wine bowl.
The Monkey King loudly sniffs before roaring again.
Two bandit monkeys carry a large stone tablet and place it over two stone benches. Next, a female bandit monkey picks a large stone vat above her head. Wine splashes out of the vat as a spicy aroma fills their surrounding.
Lo Jik quietly picks up his Wine Bowl and takes it to the stone bench next to the Monkey King. The Monkey King also sits on one side of the stone table.
Bai Ning Bing observes carefully.
Unsurprisingly, Lo Jik’s hand looks like a twig compared to the Monkey King’s massive arm. But Bai Ning Bing notices something. Since the Monkey is massive. His posture is awkward to accommodate the size difference. He cannot reveal his full strength. Lo Jik has an advantage.
The female bandit monkey shouts as the Monkey King flexes his arm.
*BANG*
The crowd goes silent as Lo Jik’s relatively thin hand slams the Monkey King’s hand on the stone table.
‘At least show some exertion. What if the Bandit Monkey attacks?’ Bai Ning Bing curses when Lo Jik’s laugh resounds in the silent mountain region.
How can a Monkey King compare to him?
Lo Jik refined two boars, a Rank 2 Tiger, and a Rank 3 White Ape Strength Gu! He also used the Tough Bones, Thick Skin, and Pink Muscles Gu! His physical strength is similar to a Thousand-Beast King!
Under Bai Ning Bing’s surprised gaze, Lo Jik puts the Wine Bowl in the Monkey King’s hand.
Instead of getting angry, the Monkey King sniffs the wine before gulping it.
*Huhuhuhuhu*
Loud hoots echo in the area as the Monkey King raises his hand.
The female Bandit Monkey quickly pushes the Spicy Wine to Lo Jik as the Beast King searches his body. His thick fingers brush into his fur before reaching for his crotch under his fur skirt. The elephant-sized Monkey King takes out a tiny bug.
Rank 1 Aura Radiates from the Gu as Lo Jik accepts it with a smile. This Gu is similar to a monkey’s face—The Monkey Language Gu!
Lo Jik swiftly refines the Gu before using it.
“Huhukah! Kah!” Monkey hoots escape his lips as the Monkey King ponders before thumping his chest.
Lo Jik repeats the gesture.
Only then do the other Monkeys retreat. The Monkey King also leaves the area.
Only Lo Jik, Bai Ning Bing, and the large stone vat filled with Monkey Wine remain.
“What was that?” her voice echoes as the mist slowly covers the lush green forest.
“The Bandit Monkeys welcomed us. The agreement in the trade route is too strict. However, a Gu Master can also earn the Bandit Monkey’s approval. The Bamboo Wine was a peace gesture. After losing to me, their monkey wine was their approval. The Monkey Language Gu is always present on a Bandit Monkey King. That Gu was our welcoming gift as their guests.”
“Guests? These monkeys know how to host a guest?”
“Bandit Monkeys know how to trade, too,” Lo Jik looks at her. “This is an open secret among other Rank 5 Gu Masters.”
“Trade?” Bai Ning Bing blinks.
“From now on, we can return to this spot and challenge Bandit Monkeys for their goods. The best part is they won’t steal from us. They will inspect what we bet before offering something that they think is a fair price.” He laughs, patting the stone vat. “For instance, exchanging a large vat of precious monkey wine for a bowl of bamboo wine.”
Bai Ning Bing finally realizes their potential, as Lo Jik adds with a wicked smirk. “These Bandit Monkeys are also our way into a caravan. We already have the Monkey Language Gu. Do you know what else we can trade?”
“Services!” She gushes. The instant realization makes her body tremble. “We can use these Monkeys to search various Gu!”
Lo Jik nods.
“Why don’t other Clans use this loophole?” Bai Ning Bing frowns, suspecting something.
“Even I don’t know. And I don’t intend to mindlessly explore things that Rank 5 Gu Masters cannot exhaust.”
Lo Jik shrugs.
“Hmph, unless there’s a female involved.”
“Yep,” Lo Jik shrugs shamelessly. “Let’s find ourselves a cave. We’ll be here for long. Also, we need to search for the Rank 3 Bandit Monkey Strength Gu alongside Rank 2 Monkey Mask Gu.”
“Be sure to lend me the Monkey Language Gu. I’ll challenge regular monkeys.” She grins.
“Do that after using one Rank 1 Strength Gu,” Lo Jik scoffs. “I won’t help if you lose and get chased out. Besides, our challengers will be random. What will you do if the Monkey King shows up?”
She frowns, “I would have more options if we didn’t waste the Footless Bird!”
“Don’t think of it as a waste. We have temporary peace here. Let’s make the best of it, Ning Bing.”
“Eugh! Don’t call my name with such intimacy.”
“Ning Bing~!”
“Stop singing it!”
“Huhukahkah!”
“What was that?”
“Your name in Monkey Language.”
“I’ll skewer your ass once we enter Shang Clan.”
